mixed-up monday: silver screen soundtrack
Stepping into a movie theater in the summertime ups the escape ante — the usual reality vacation heightened by a dark, cool respite from the season’s bright and sunny disposition.
A recent game of “Have you seen . . . ?” with a young friend followed by learning that my 16 year-old daughter hadn’t experienced the “O Captain! My Captain!” scene in DEAD POETS SOCIETY has catapulted me into a silver screen state-of-mind.
This week’s “mixed-up monday” Spotify playlist taps into movie magic with a few video clips thrown in for buttered popcorn’s sake. To tune in, click on the photo below, and be sure to scroll down and click each photo for memorable movie moments.
