mixed up monday: solstice eve sounds
Today’s post is a simple one:
Obey the season.
Think I’m being bossy? You’re right!
At 7:09 PM on Wednesday, solstice will swoop in to tempt us with summer pleasures — beckoning hammocks, friends wielding invitations to backyard BBQs, beach bonfires and lazy poolside siesta fiestas, moonlit just-right-for-skinny-dipping nights and a whole slew of other decadent distractions.
In today’s “I need it now” world, summer arrives just in the nick of time to S.O.S. – Save Our Sanity — with reminders that good things come to those who balance the daily dash with healthy doses of fun.
So now not only am I feeling bossy, I also have the undeniable urge to repeat myself . . . .
Obey the season.
